Celebrating success — Hampshire based IT company investing in its team and tech

With more than 15 years’ experience, Aura Technology’s Richard Flanders is now the Commercial Director of the fast-moving IT company. It’s a natural move from his previous position as Customer Strategy Director.

Aura’s strategic approach to providing an IT roadmap that’s business-led, ensures its bespoke packages offer outstanding value for money while providing reliable and future-proof IT solutions and Richard has been a large part of that. His work focuses on Aura’s entire customer base advising on the most suited products, services and strategic direction, he also works with suppliers and Aura’s Product Board to get the best possible solutions and services for customers. Richard said:

“When I first joined Aura in 2018 there were five of us and now there’s more than a hundred, we’ve seen great growth.

“Our customers will always be at the heart of what we do. We’re looking to improve all areas of their IT with a focus on delivering exceptional end-user experience through new and improved IT services and products and it’s part of my role to look at it from the clients’ needs but also to manage andhave a great relationship with our suppliers.”

Richard is dedicated to helping business owners relate business processes to IT solutions, including designing and delivering managed IT services. He works closely with Managing Director, Tim Walker and the team, on the company’s signature Technology Roadmap. Aura’s comprehensive review and audit offered to clients to fully gauge the technologies that a business is currently using and then produce a bespoke package that helps that business reach its goals.
